0The WFD is a range of modular reverse jet cleaned horizontal flat bag (or "cassette") filters designed for continuous operation in heavy duty applications.
Based closely upon the WFS, the WFD features a downflow design, dirty gas entering via an inlet hood at high level, passing downwards across the horizontal bags where the dust is separated from the gas. Most of the dust then drops into the hopper. The cleaned gas passes through the bags, upon the surface of which a filter cake is deposited, then into the clean gas chamber from where it is extracted at low level.
The WFD is a reverse jet cleaned alternative to the WFS reverse air filter, particularly useful where the higher quantity of cleaning air injected by the WFS could adversely affect the process gas conditions.
